Big congratulations are in order for Rockets Swimming, for bringing back yet another Philadelphia Public League Team Championship win for the 2nd year in a row. Our girls team won their Champs meet against Central and Girls High at the Drexel University pool with some really close and exciting relay races! Our boys came in second this season after winning SLAs first team championship meet last year. The following SLA swimmers also represented our school and the Public League at the District 12 Championships – Tommy Moore, Ian Duffy-Fuiano, Miles Prowell, Sadie Parker, Lily Weston and Katelyn Chen, with our girls qualifying to go to States at Bucknell.  Senior, Tommy Moore broke 2 PPL swimming records for his 200 and 500 yard freestyle races both at the PPL Individual Champs and at Districts! Go Rockets!!
