The Boys JV Ultimate team won their inaugural game on Tuesday, beating Cardinal O’Hara 9-8 in a thrilling game that saw many players get their first game experience ever! The team came out strong, taking a 3-0 lead on O’Hara, led by freshman Oskar Glahn and sophomores Andrew Bowers and Amadou Magassa. But O’Hara would not give up, as they battled back to tie the game at 4-4 and take their first lead late in the game at 8-7. But with time running out, the Rockets scored the last two points of the game with sophomores Ethan Chen tying the game and Anthony Castro-Gomez scoring the game winning goal!
Congrats to the boys on a great win! Their next game is Oct. 11th against Strath Haven JV at Edgely Ballfields. Go Rockets!
