After a solid win against Northeast, the SLA girls volleyball team sought to win against Carver Engineering and Science. Two injuries to starters pushed freshman Sophie Resuello was again put in as a starter alongside sophomore Christian Jemiri. Both played with extreme energy and adapted to the rotation quickly. Amani Harb once again rose to the occasion, scoring 12 perfect serves in a row. Because of the team’s incredible performance, many new players were able to be on the court. In the end, SLA won the first three games, resulting in their second victory. The team will play again on Tuesday at Lloyd Hall. Come support the team!
