The SLA Girls Ultimate team beat Pennsbury HS 11-6 at Edgley Field on Tuesday. SLA was dynamic on both offense and defense, being led by senior captain Madison George who threw multiple goals and was a shut down defender against very tough Pennsbury players.

The entire SLA team played well, connecting passes on offense and playing tough defense on a very scrappy Pennsbury squad. Sophomore co-captain Ruth Moore and sophomores Atiya Gant, Fabulous Okurut, and Emma Flenner were offensive powerhouses, solving whatever defenses Pennsbury threw at them.

The girls are taking this win into this weekend’s Spring Fling tournament.
